Career Counseling

Career counseling is provided by our licensed professional counselors, psychologists or supervised trainees who specialize in helping students identify the steps in career development and exploration. In a confidential and supportive setting, we help students manage the concerns and stress associated with making career decisions.

We address personal issues that may contribute to decision-making difficulties and help students utilize career assessment and resources more effectively. Career counseling may include individual career counseling sessions, career assessments and/or participation in career related workshops or groups.
We offer one-on-one career counseling appointments to students who are seeking direction, considering majors, exploring internships, job searching or applying for graduate school.

Meet with a career counselor to clarify your interests, skills and values, and sometimes we use inventories as well — like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Campbell Interests and Skill Survey. Our goal is to help you make an informed choice about where you want to start your life after evaluation.
